General Motors Looks to Cut Production Costs

With the GM stock at a 50 year low the company keeps looking for ways to stay afloat. They announced that they would be suspending all new product development for 2009 and 2010. The main questions that comes up is how will this affect the production release date of the much anticipated Chevy Volt. According to management at GM, the Volt is a high priority and funding for the project will continue. The will be "no impact". We will see.
